DESCRIPTION:19–20 September 2026 • Liverton\, Devon £295 per person • Two days / one night • Wild camping included Shape a green hazel bow\, knap a flint arrowhead\, make natural cordage\, prepare a whole wild deer and cook venison over the campfire. \n\n\n\n\nChoose Tickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA weekend of primitive skills from first principles\n\n\n\nThis is a practical course with no previous bushcraft\, bow-making or flint-knapping experience required. You’ll work through each stage with instruction and time to practise\, bringing the materials and techniques together over the weekend. \n\n\n\n\n\nCraft a Primitive Bow\n\n\n\nSelect a suitable green hazel stave\, shape it using traditional hand tools and learn the fundamentals of tillering. You take the finished bow home. \n\n\n\n\nKnap Flint\n\n\n\nLearn percussion and pressure-flaking techniques\, understand how flint fractures and work natural stone into a functional arrowhead. \n\n\n\n\nMake Cordage & Haft\n\n\n\nProcess natural fibres into cordage and use it to haft your flint arrowhead to a wooden shaft. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPrepare a Wild Deer\n\n\n\nWork through field dressing\, skinning\, breaking down the carcass\, identifying meat cuts and basic hide preparation under expert instruction. \n\n\n\n\nCook Over Fire\n\n\n\nUse the campfire to cook and share venison prepared during the butchery session as part of a communal camp meal. \n\n\n\n\nShoot What You Made\n\n\n\nDay two includes an archery competition using your handmade bow and a selection of arrows. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat the £295 ticket includes\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTwo full days of instruction\n\n\nHazel bow stave and bow-making materials\n\n\nFlint and knapping materials\n\n\nWooden arrow shafts\n\n\nNatural cordage materials\n\n\n\n\n\n\nUse of required tools and safety equipment\n\n\nDeer preparation and butchery session\n\n\nCampfire-cooked venison\n\n\nOne night’s wild camping pitch\n\n\nToilets and shower facilities\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat you take home\n\n\n\n\nYour handmade hazel bow\n\n\nYour wooden arrows\n\n\nYour flint arrowhead\n\n\nYour natural cordage and hafting\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOvernight options\n\n\n\nWild camping is included.
