Join us for an immersive, hands-on experience in the world of mushroom foraging! This one-day course will take you into the heart of nature to discover a variety of edible and medicinal mushrooms. Led by expert foragers, you’ll learn the essential skills for identifying, harvesting, and safely enjoying wild mushrooms.
The day begins with an informative session where you’ll be introduced to key identification techniques, safety tips, and the ecological role of mushrooms in their environment. After a short break with tea and coffee, we’ll head into the field for an exciting foraging walk, where you’ll put your newfound knowledge to the test. Along the way, you’ll practice identifying mushrooms in their natural habitat, and have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about each species you encounter.
The day will conclude with a relaxed discussion and a chance to share your findings while enjoying a hot drink. By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident in your mushroom foraging skills and have a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
