The South West Bushcraft & Outdoor Show is a family-friendly event celebrating bushcraft, survival skills, outdoor living, and adventure. Expect hands-on workshops, expert demonstrations, exhibitors, traders, and a vibrant community of outdoor enthusiasts.

This event is for everyone! Whether you’re a seasoned bushcrafter, a curious beginner, or just looking for a fun weekend outdoors with the family, there’s something for all ages and abilities.
If you’re planning on camping then yes, you need to book in advance to secure your spot. Day tickets do not need to be booked in advance but it is recommended. Some workshops may also have limited spaces and require pre-booking.
Absolutely! We offer a range of child-friendly activities, and kids under 4 attend for free. Please check ticket info for details.
Yes! Please book your camping tickets in advance. Toilets and water points are available, and there are a range of food vendors on-site too.
Yes, a selection of food stalls and drink vendors will be present. You’re also welcome to bring your own supplies.
Unfortunately not. The site has recently suffered a number of dog attacks to is putting a blanket ban in place from May 2025.
We aim to make the event as accessible as possible. It is taking place on flat fields, with level access to the bar, marquee, terrace and toilets. If we have wet weather the fields will be a little challenging but it’s Augusta so hopefully not!

Yes, we welcome traders, instructors, and demonstrators. Please get in touch via our Demonstrators page for more details on how to apply if you wish to run activities or the Traders page if you are selling items.
This is an all-weather event! Many activities are sheltered, but we recommend waterproof clothing and good boots. The show goes on—rain or shine.
No, there will be a communal fire in the evening but individual fires are not permitted, even in raised fire pits
Yes! We have a range of catering facilities available providing a nice selection of food & coffee etc. You are of course also welcome to cater yourself (if camping) and there are supermarkets within a short walk of the site.
Parking is available for people who are camping. This will be in the camping field, as close to your tent as we are able to facilitate.
For day visitors there is no allocated parking on site. Parking is available close by in residential roads and short stay in a range of car parks (please be aware there are parking restrictions in a number of shop car parks close by and they have CCTV monitoring to ensure people are actually using their shops).
Please ensure when booking camping tickets, if you wish to enter the site the following day, that you purchase the applicable day ticket for that day (if you are not additionally purchasing an entry/camping ticket for that day). For example, a Thursday entry & camping ticket will need a Friday day entry ticket to be purchased, unless you are purchasing a Friday camping ticket, which has Friday entry included.
No, there is no power available.
Unfortunately there is a lack of trees at the site so while we very much welcome hammocks, there’s no where to hang them 🙁
The show opens at 10am daily. Breakfast will be available for campers to buy prior to opening.
Stalls will typically stop trading/running activities at 5pm.
The bar will remain open until demand slows.
The show finished at 4pm on Sunday 10th.
Absolutely! There’s loads of space for picknics for day guests & campers are welcome to use gas stoves to cook on at their pitches.
People who book camping tickets will be sent detailed instructions on how to enter the site, there is a separate entrance for vehicle access to the camping field. The camping field is separate to the main activity field, passage between the two will be monitored by a steward.
Yes! Day guests will be given a wrist band to allow re-entry for the day. Campers will be given a wrist band to allow returns for the duration of their stay.
