Currently residing in Kingsteignton with his wife and four children, Jono leads Devon and Cornwall Bushcraft CIC activities across the Westcountry. Davin Foster

Davin Foster

Rural Skills Instructor

Davin’s lifelong love of nature led to skills development. Living and working on the land, he honed his craft with Devon Rural Skills Trust. Instructing in various techniques like hedgelaying, coppicing, hedgebank restoration, and coppice crafts earned him a Master Craftsman’s qualification in 1994.

With a deep passion for preserving traditional skills and tools alive, Davin actively engages in sharing his wealth of knowledge by regularly leading the Wednesday evening club.

Scott Harrison-Jones

Scott Harrison-Jones

Head Chef

Scott has a passion for the outdoors.  We first met him when he was bought a spot on a course as a present by his wife and we’ve been great friends since!

He has spent over 25 years delivering high end catering, running kitchens from Birmingham to Torquay, educating and catering nutritional meals for children over 52 schools across the South West and reaching the semi-finals of South West Chef of the Year twice.

In 2019 he set up his business, Shepherd Shack Catering
They offer a range of artisan, handmade deli items, a local takeaway service, cater events and weddings but most exciting of all, an outdoor fine dining experience!

Book onto any (subject to us booking him in time!) of our cooking courses & you’ll be treated to some superb food from Scott.

Scott also provides the catering for our corporate and private booking events.
